Together against loneliness
Bringing older people and young volunteers together to make soup.
Grandma’s Soup is on a mission to fight loneliness among older people by bringing generations together through soup.
Through the Grandma’s Soup Foundation, we organise weekly Cooking Days, Soup-at-Home Days and special events where younger and older people cook together, share stories and build real connections.
To make this work sustainably, we also run a commercial arm that sells delicious fresh soups and meals, made using authentic grandma-approved recipes. Over 50% of all profits go directly into the foundation, funding even more moments of connection for older people across the UK.
Bringing older people and young volunteers together to make soup.
Made with fresh vegetables and herbs, based on traditional recipes of real life grandparents.
We’re committed to using leftover veggies at all our cooking events, to help reduce food waste.
We’re excited to share that Grandma’s Soup is now available at Morrisons in the UK! By picking up Grandma’s Soup at your local supermarket, you’re not just enjoying a delicious meal; you’re directly supporting our mission to combat loneliness in later life. Profits go towards cooking events that bring people together and make older people happier. Grandma's Soup is already available across the Netherlands, and now, with our expansion abroad, every bowl helps us grow our mission to reach more cities and support even more older people worldwide.
Which means we meet the very highest standards of social and environmental impact. Along with over 4,000 fellow B Corps like Patagonia, Tony Chocolonely, Ben & Jerry's, Innocent & Dopper, we strive to use our business operations for good, both for people and the environment. Pretty cool, right?
