Every great chef needs a delicious soup, and for Grandma Sieglien it was this satisfying blend of red lentils, the freshest red tomatoes, ginger, coriander, nutmeg and a hint of curry. She also adds smooth coconut milk for a taste sensation that’s high in fibre, nutritional value and chock full of vitamins. Grandma Sieglien now cooks delicious soups every week in her local community centre, together with other older people and students. And just like the old days, she’s certainly the boss.
